Clark, Northern Virginia Community College, Loudoun Campus (Sterling). Explore how professional archaeologists discover Loudoun’s rich archaeological heritage. Participate in walking surveys and test excavations at numerous sites across the county. Learn some of the exciting stories archaeology tells about “your” local past.

This report will change as additional information is acquired (e.g. we are currently researching the relationships between the Gardner/Duncan and Orrison families in furthering an understanding the pottery and other familial business partnerships in the early 19th century).
