The Loudoun Archaeological Foundation is currently in the process of developing an extensive public archaeological investigation and education program of events for 2009:
Among these events will be the following annual program of activities:
Date TBD: Presentation of a “A Civil War Soldier’s Life” (as seen through artifacts and reenactor exhibitions) at Claude Moore Park in Sterling
June 2009: An archaeological summer camp for children
July 2009: Exhibition at the annual Fourth of July celebration at Claude Moore Park
August 2009: Exhibition at the Lucketts’ Fair
September 2009: Exhibition at the Waterford Fair
We will be posting more information about these events as the dates approach.
