Claude Moore Park

The Lanesville Heritage Area at Claude Moore Park in Sterling, VA contains a historic ordinary, dating to the 18th century, several outbuildings, a portion of historic Vestal's Gap Road, and numerous other sites. It is located adjacent to the Heritage Farm Museum. LAF conducts regular public outreach events at the park, and an active dig is underway behind the Lanesville House.
